Oovroom data deletion
Last updated: 2026-10-21. Not legal advice; counsel has not reviewed it.
You can ask us to delete the personal data Oovroom holds about you. This covers the web booking app, our WhatsApp number, bank slips, payment records and supplier (operator) accounts.
How to ask
Pick one:
- Email privacy@oovroom.com with the subject "Delete my data". Write the name and the phone number or email you used with Oovroom, and the booking quote number if you have it.
- WhatsApp: message the Oovroom number with the words "delete my data" from the number you used.
- Operators: write from your account email, or tell us at privacy@oovroom.com; we delete the account and its staff and driver records.
We do not need your password or card number. We check that the request comes from the person it concerns before deleting anything: for WhatsApp, the number you message from; for email, a reply to the address you used.
How fast
- We reply within 3 working days to confirm we have your request.
- We delete within 30 days of confirming who you are, and tell you when it is done.
What we delete
Name, phone number, email, WhatsApp number and messages, uploaded photos and bank slips, saved addresses and account details, from our live systems.
What we may keep
Booking and payment records are kept for 2 years (see the privacy policy), with your contact details removed where we can. Bookings an operator has already completed may stay in that operator's own records. Backups clear within 90 days.
If you reached us on WhatsApp
Oovroom has no Facebook or Meta sign-in. If you contacted us on WhatsApp, deleting your data here removes what Oovroom holds: your number, display name, messages and photos. Meta keeps its own copy under its own terms; delete that through WhatsApp's settings or Meta's help pages.
Payment providers
Payments are taken by the operator's own gateway (Stripe, HitPay or Airwallex). We delete the payment reference we hold. To delete data at the gateway, ask the operator or the gateway.
Other rights
To see or correct your data, or to stop marketing, write to the same address. See /privacy.
